Trails & lake views

Biking

Summit County’s paved recreation paths connect towns and recreation areas. Routes near Dillon Reservoir are a good starting point; the climb toward Vail Pass is more demanding. Check snow conditions and current route maps before heading out.

Right by the condo: Adventure Center

The Keystone Adventure Center is in Lakeside Village, within walking distance of the condo. It is our first suggestion for an easy family outing nearby.

Summer options include paddle boats, paddleboards, kayaks, canoes, cruiser bikes and yard games. Walk or bike the lake paths and nearby Snake River Trail.

No swimming or fishing in Keystone Lake. Use the lake’s rental equipment; outside paddleboards are not permitted.

In winter, check for lake skating and skate rentals. Confirm ice conditions, seasonal activity availability and any sleigh-ride meeting point with the resort before going.
