Sleeping arrangements, everyday essentials, and house rules.
FROSTY FLAMINGO • KEYSTONE LAKE
Sleeping arrangements
The condo has one bedroom and two full bathrooms, with room for up to seven guests.
- Bedroom: king bed
- Living room: Murphy bed, sleeper sofa, and roll away twin bed
Please keep walkways clear when the extra beds are in use.
Kitchen & living area
The kitchen includes a refrigerator, stove, oven, microwave, dishwasher, coffee maker, toaster, crockpot, air fryer, cookware, and dishes. The living area has a fireplace and TV. Enjoy the lake and mountain views from the private balcony.
Wi-Fi & entertainment
Your Wi-Fi credentials are in your private arrival message. Use the primary condo network first. For login help, call Resort Internet at 1-877-208-4141. For other connectivity issues, call SCMR at 970-368-4800.
Both TVs support streaming apps and Apple AirPlay. Turn the TV on, connect your phone to the primary condo Wi-Fi network, and choose the TV named FrostyFlamingo.
HDMI 1: DIRECTV. Please do not order movies or pay-per-view programs on our account.
HDMI 2 on the living-room TV: DVD player. Its remote is on top of the player.
Bring your own streaming-app logins and sign out before leaving. For cable or satellite support, call 1-877-208-4141.
House rules
- No smoking of any kind inside the condo or on attached outdoor areas.
- Quiet hours are 10:00 PM to 8:00 AM. Report disturbances to Keystone Security at 970-496-4000.
- No pets. The condo association does not permit guest pets.
- Maximum occupancy is seven guests.
- The primary renter must be at least 21.
- Children must be supervised by an adult at both pool facilities.
- The condo has elevator access but is not wheelchair accessible.
Trash & recycling
Please remove all trash and recycling and place it in the appropriate receptacles. The dumpster is outside on the north side of the complex, between the Lakeside building and Highway 6. Do not leave trash outside the condo’s front door; housekeeping does not collect it there. A blue recycling bin is in the closet for your use.
Something needs attention?
Report a maintenance issue to Summit County Mountain Retreats at 970-368-4800. Please describe the problem and where it is in the condo.
Dishwasher
Use only the soap labeled Dishwasher Detergent. Both dish soaps are under the kitchen sink.
The soap marked Sink Only is for handwashing dishes. Putting it in the dishwasher will cause excessive suds and an overflow.
Refrigerator & ice
Leave the refrigerator and freezer temperature settings as they are. After loading groceries, allow time for the refrigerator to cool again. Contact the property manager if it is not cooling properly.
The freezer’s ice maker is turned off before arrival. Lower the metal bar to start making ice.
Garbage disposal
Run water while using the disposal and keep it running for at least 30 seconds after switching the disposal off. Put large amounts of food scraps and leftovers in the trash.
Keep these out of the disposal:
- Eggshells, bones and nuts
- Onion, potato and carrot peels
- Pasta, rice and oatmeal
- Coffee grounds
- Fibrous vegetables and lettuce
Gas fireplace
Use the wall switch to turn the fireplace on or off. The management guide describes an on/off fireplace with a pilot light that normally stays lit.
If the fireplace does not start or the pilot appears to be out, call 970-368-4800 or text 970-572-4307 for help. The guide’s relighting procedure is generic and may not match this fireplace’s controls.
Follow the operating label on the fireplace. Do not remove panels or adjust gas controls using instructions for a different model. Turn the fireplace off before leaving the condo.
Heating & cooling
The condo has radiant heat and two manual dial thermostats: one in the main hallway and one in the bedroom. We usually find 65–70°F comfortable.
If a dial seems stuck, turn it fully down and then back up to your desired setting. A click indicates the thermostat is switching on; contact SCMR if the condo still does not warm up.
There is no air conditioning. Several box fans are provided for summer use.
Games & balcony
Games and puzzles are in the coat closet by the entryway, including train dominoes and a poker chip set. Let us know if pieces are missing.
The balcony looks out over Keystone Lake and the surrounding mountains. If snow collects, use the broom in the closet/water-heater area to sweep it away. Watch for slippery spots.
